The Bear Ridge Speedway lineup of events for their 58th year of consecutive racing is set.  In addition to spotlighting the 58th consecutive season of action at the Ridge, management knows without the banner line-up of events and sponsors this wouldn’t be happening. The Ridge continues to be the best source of great inexpensive high-quality entertainment for families. What makes for great entertainment? Some of the best drivers in New England, fierce competition, the best track food going, and all your friends!

The 2025 season schedule for the visiting divisions R.E. Hinkley Granite State Mini Sprints (when at the Ridge) (GSMS) and Sprint Cars of New England (SCoNE) consists a once a month rotation for  each division for a total of ten visits between them. The GSMS will be on site five times with their first appearance scheduled for May 10. As always, we are very happy to have a strong working relationship with the Granite State Mini Sprints and are glad we are able to have the 500 and 600 cc’s competing with us on a regular basis. SCoNE will be at the docket five times as well with their first event scheduled for May31st, sponsored by Woodsville Savings Bank.

Opening day, our 58th consecutive, of the Ridge will be hosted once again by our longtime supporter Mike Olsen of FMS NAPA Auto Parts of Bradford is set for May 3, 2025. The day will kick off with the official Bear Ridge Car Show this year returning to Gray’s Field in Fairlee VT, just a few miles south of the track on Route 5 from 9:00 to noon. Then it is up the hill for closed practice for those cars and stars at the car show, then the first green flag to wave on opening night at 5:00pm for the star studded lineup which will include our seven regular racing divisions: the DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds; the Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes; the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modifieds Limited, the Extreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets; the High-Country Late Models, the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stockers and the Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners, opening night sets the stage for the season being one of the four nights scheduled as double points for each division.

Also returning in 2025 will be the Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro Series competing monthly, their first event is scheduled for May 24th our Memorial Day remembrance of lost friends sponsored Leroux Brothers, Inc. The Sting Vintage Race Cars Dash for Cash events will be scheduled throughout the season, rotating throughout each of the regular divisions, affording drivers an opportunity to perhaps take home a triple crown for the night.

Highlighted special events for 2025 include a DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds Eastern Series event one on May 17th, our annual 4th of July Extravaganza sponsored by Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat with fireworks courtesy of Noise R Us Fireworks on June 28th, and our second annual bull riding, calf roping, barrel rolling RODEO Tuesday July 8th,  tickets are on sale now at Tix.com a link can be found on our Facebook page. We will not be able to honor our racing season passes, as this is a non-race event.

Everyone is anxious to see the 2025 season, the Ridge’s 58th consecutive to kick into gear on May 3rd, and once you will be able to hear April May and Butch as they join Stephen John once again for all the highlights of Bear Ridge Speedway from the week before and what is coming up every Friday morning from 6:45 to 7:00 on WYKR.

2025 driver and crew membership applications are now available on the website. Be sure to get yours sent in early to beat the lines on opening day. Get your application today, to ensure your car number for 2025. Enduro numbers will be assigned at the first event. To be eligible for the Bear Ridge Speedway points fund, and recognized at the annual awards banquet, drivers must hold a 2025 Bear Ridge Speedway or DIRTcar license, compete in the required number of events, and run on track designated tires as indicated in the rule book.

The price of a regular show general admission (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 16 to 61) is $15.00 a person and children 11 and under $2.00. Teens (12 to 15) and seniors 62 and older are $13.00. Military Discounts are available at $5.00 off for those with a valid ID.

The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2025 license holders is $30.00.

Non-license holders are $35.00 (both prices include the front gate ticket.)

Bear Ridge Speedway is an alcohol-free family friendly entertainment spot, with our goal to make each experience at the Ridge better than the last. We continue to offer the best source of good, inexpensive high-quality entertainment for families.

Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Racing begins at the famous “6:00-ish” start time every Saturday starting in May through September.
