Garrett Brown gets his first win in Peanuts Auto LLC Four Cylinders
For Immediate Release BRS-082821-1
Dead River Co night Feature winners: Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds Matt Lashua; Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes Tadd Kingsbury USAC DMA Midgets Seth Carlson; C.A. Miller Limited Late Models Return to action September 4th; LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks Jesse Dunham; Peanuts Auto LLC Four Cylinders Feature #1 Chris O’Dell & Feature #2 Garrett Brown. Granite State Mini Sprints 600cc Caiden Herbert, 500cc Chase Rogers.
Another driver is added to the winner’s circle in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds as Matt Lashua was able to capitalize on his up-front starting spot and get by the handful of drivers ahead of him for his first win of the season. These points battle if it continues on its path will see Jason Gray the champ as he is sitting on a seventy-point lead over second place Richie Simmons. The battle for second is shaping up to be a very tight one with only eight points separating second from fifth. Mike Dunn and Allan Hammond, the initial green front row held on for second and third for the victory lane spots with Matt Lashua. Todd Buckwold coming from deeper in the pack crossed the line fourth and Jeremy Huntoon takes home fifth.
There were some very happy new faces in victory in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes. While Tad Kingsbury coming off a rough couple of weeks was able to make the track work for him and thankful the feature event was thirty-five laps and not thirty, as he took the lead on lap thirty-two from Cody Copeland the only leader up to that point. Kingsbury gets the win with Copeland in second, and Copeland teammate Ali Pushee with his best finish ever filling the final victory lane spot in third. Tim Martin and Todd Hayward completed the top five. For the Coupes there is still plenty of racing action left and while there is a slight advantage building up for the current point leader, with this division anyone can have a good night or bad and things will change. Again the third place spot is the one building momentum with only ten points separating sixth from third.
In the USAC DMA Midgets Seth Carlson is another one to get the win of the night and take over the points lead giving himself a slight lead over Joe Krawiec who fell to second in points with his seventh-place finish. The Battle shaping up in this class looks to be that for 5th in points as only two separate the three drivers in 5th thru 7th. Justin Sheridan is scored in second place for the victory lane ceremonies with Josh Sunn grabbing the final victory lane spot. Brandon Piastka and Mike Chaffee with his best finish in a long time rounded out the top five.
The C.A. Miller Limited Late Models were off and will return to action on Saturday September 4th.
Jesse Dunham gets win number four in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks and the points lead coming out on top over Lucas Wheeler by just three points. With three more weeks left and one Madness night for this division, this championship battle is poised to be settled on the final event of the season. Jess Dunham was joined by Mike McClay and Mike Mann in victory lane with Brett Fifield and Mike Stender rounding out the top five. Lucas Wheeler had has first finish outside the top five coming home in tenth. The LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks will be off September 4th and return to action for their Madness night on September 11th.
It has only taken him four years, but determination finally paid off for Garrett Brown as he finally was able to cross the line first under the checkered flag in the Peanuts Auto LLC Four Cylinders. Tight on his tails was Jonathan Baker in second and Devin Spinks in third. Jon LaForest and Kevin LaForest completed the top five. Chris O’Dell is another first-time winner in the Fours as he beats out Travis King and Blake Buccellato the three to make it to victory lane. Hayden Bishop and Taber Andrews rounded out the top five for their main event.
The Granite State Mini Sprints held their Lenny West Memorial race a long-time support and one of the original drivers for the group. In the 600cc’s Caiden Herbert gets the win over Keith Brown with Jacob Green finishing in third. Zachary Robinson and Kyle Gisleson rounded out the top five. In the 500cc Chase Rogers beats out Riley Chaffee for the win with Josh Wright joining them in victory lane inthird. Rob Williams and Jake Macintyre completed the top five. The Granite State Mini Sprints will be returning one more time to the Ridge this season on September 18th.
