The Wolf 95.3 & 107.1 feature winners for May 27th: Matt Lashua in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds; Cody Gregoropoulos in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets(at Albany Saratoga Friday May 26th) Chris Murray, High Country Dispensary Late Models OFF, LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks Andrew Fitzgerald, Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners FEATURE one: Blake Buccellato, FEATURE two Logan Martin, Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro Jason Porter, and visiting BRS WYKR Sprint Cars of New England the Professor Chris Donnelly.
The Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds put on an action-packed show for the fans, as the three making the trek to victory lane did it from deep in the pack. Working their way through the full field of earth pounding machines the trio picked off their competitors one by one. At the end of the march Matt Lashua was scored the winner with James Fadden tight on his tail in second. Josh Sunn joined the two in third. Melvin Pierson and Jason Gray completed the top five.
In the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes Todd Hayward and Cody Gregoropoulos haven’t been off to the start they had hoped for, but both were able to capitalize on their owning weeks woes to come home strong. The battle for the point was fought between the two of them and as the laps ticketed down caution free after a lap one restart, Gregoropoulos was the one who came out on top capturing the win with Todd Hayward grabbing second. Matt Ellsworth was the one on the move coming from mid pack, making his way to the final victory lane spot crossing the start finish line in third. Tim Hodge and Ryan Christian, your two feature winners so far this year rounded out the top five.
The Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets had the night off after making their only trip in 2023 to the Great Race Place Albany Saratoga where Chris Murray captured the win with Will Hull crossing in second and Seth Carlson coming home in third. The Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets return to action at the Ridge on Saturday June 3rd.
The High-Country Dispensary Late Models rained out and will return to the Ridge on June 3rd.
Andrew Fitzgerald adds his name to the winner’s circle in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks beating out Mike Mann and Mike McClay for the honors. Coming from row five he got past McClay on a restart on lap five and never looked back. On lap sixteen the second caution of the night waved, and the restart gave Mann the chance to get by McClay for the runner up spot. Aren Keene and Bryan King completed the top five.
The Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners came to town with over thirty competitors for the night, once again affording them the opportunity to run two features. A few were lost to mechanical woes during the earlier part of the night leaving 27 still ready and willing to go. For the first feature of twenty laps Blake Buccellato gets the win over Katie Burroughs who crossed the line second and Cameron Kenny claiming third. Failed post-race inspections moved Paige Flanders and Matt Lucas to the fourth and fifth place spots. For the second feature of twenty laps Logan Martin makes it back-to-back wins with Tom Brown joining him in victory lane in second and Travis King in third. Spencer Braley and Hayden Bishop completed the top five.
The first Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro provided the fans with plenty of racing excitement. Over forty drivers hoped to take the green for the first of their six events but when the green was thrown it would be a three wide start for thirty-seven eager drivers. At the end of their scheduled 75 laps only two machines would be scored on the lead lap. It didn’t take Jason Porter long to get to the front and halfway was lapping his competitors. Porter would be scored the victor at the checkers with Kevin LaForest in second. A failed post-race inspection would give Devin Bell the third-place spot, Danny Doyle fourth and Scott Dowland fifth.
The Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduros return to action on Saturday June 24th.

The price of a regular show general admission (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 17 to 61) is $12.00 a person. Seniors 62 and older $10.00. Teens 12 to 16 WITH a paying adult $10.00, and children 11 and under WITH a paying Adult $2.00. Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2023 license holders is $30.00. Non-license holders are $35.00 (both prices include the front gate ticket.)
