Event ten of the 55th consecutive season of racing at the Ridge.
For Immediate Release BRS-07162022-1
The Twin State Ford Night feature winners of the 55th consecutive racing season in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds was TC Forward, Ali Pushee in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; USAC DMA Midgets OFF, Matt Lashua oval winner in the R&L Auto Towing and Recovery Late Models, Lucas Wheeler in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks; Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners Feature #1 Chase LaFoe; Feature #2 Kevin LaForest.
Max Dolliver was just .173 seconds away from his first win of the season in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, as TC Forward also looking for his first win took over the lead and crossed the line first stealing the win from Dolliver. At the scales Dolliver was still happy saying he passed me clean, and it was fun racing back and forth with Forward. Rookie Brian Chaffee would join the pair in the third-place spot. Ryan Christian and Jason Gray completed the top five.
It FINALLY happened! Ali Pushee got the lead from the second row in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes and never looked back as he beat out Cooper Hodge and Matt Ellsworth for his first checkers. Cody Copeland crossed the line in fourth with a strong finish, but could only think about his good friend holding the checkers joining the trio in victory lane for the celebration. Tad Kingsbury rounded out the top five.
The USAC DMA Midgets were off, their next event at the Ridge is Saturday July 30.
Matt Lashua is the overall winner in the R & L Auto Towing & Recovery Late Models, after three segments were completed for their madness with over $3,000.00 on the line. Lashua won all three segments to claim the overall victory. Ryan Christian came home in second with Tyler Trembley scored in third. JP Vaillancourt and Todd Dunham completed the top five.
Lucas Wheeler gets another win in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, beating out Garrett Given and Mike Mann, who claimed the second and third place spots in victory lane. Aren Keene and Mike McClay completed the top five.
Kevin LaForest finally gets it done in the Peanuts Auto LLC Ridge Runners in fine style making it a triple crown night by winning his heat race, the Sting Vintage Race Cars Semi Feature and the main event. Logan Martin coming from a bit further in the pack joins LaForest crossing the line in second with Hayden Bishop claiming the third and finally victory lane spot. Spencer Braley and Devon Spinks completed the top five for the second feature. In the first feature after a post-race inspection the top three changed with Chase LaFoe getting scored the win with Cary Hunter in second and Kevin Keene in third. Randy Osmer and Anna Ricker completed the top five.
