Week eighteen feature winners of the 57th consecutive season sponsored by Federated/Fisher Auto Parts were Mike Ryan in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. All remaining features were rained out. They will be run at beginning of the Twin State Tractor show on September 7th. In the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes RAINED OUT; the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets OFF, the High Country Dispensary Late Models OFF, in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks RAINED OUT, and the Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners RAINED OUT.

In the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds Mike Ryan found himself out front hoping to score his first win of the season when the rains came in on lap 32. Every effort was made by management to hold on to the track, but the rain was persistent enough to force the checkers to wave. Not knowing who was knocking on his back door, Ryan was happy to finally see the checkers and realize he beat out a couple of heavy hitters as Max Dolliver and Jason Gray were not able to set a challenge before the rain. Matt Lashua, last week’s feature winner made it up to fourth with Jeremy Huntoon rounding out your top five.

The Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes heat winners were Bob Shepard and Jason Gray.

Their 30-lap feature will be run September 7th.

Cody Gregoropoulos gets his first win of the season beating out Michael Danforth JR. and Matt Ellsworth who finally makes it back to victory lane after a mid-season drought. Jason Horniak and Terry Williams rounded out the top five. Last year’s champion Tim Hodge who is looking for a repeat as he closes the gap in the points battle fell one spot short of the top five coming home in sixth.

The Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets were off and return to the Ridge on September 7th.

The High-Country Dispensary Late Models were off and return to the Ridge for their final 2024 appearance on September 14th.

The LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks heat winners were Mike McClay and Aren Keene. Their 20 lap feature will be run September 7th.

The Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners heat winners were Travis Burroughs and Stan Otterman. Their 20 lap feature will be run September 7th.

The Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4’6 Cylinder Enduro series 75 lap event will be made up on September 7.

Coming up this Saturday September 7th sponsored by Federated Auto Parts make up features for rainout on August 31. The Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, and Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners Then racing action will begin again with a full card of racing for the 99Rock weekly racing series, sponsored by Twin State Tractor.  Divisions on hand will be the Sabil and Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets, LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, and Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners. Plus Joe Mama’s Sporting Goods 4/6 Cylinder Enduro Series and the R.E. Hinkley Granite State Mini Sprints. The High-Country Dispensaries Late Models are off. FIRST GREEN FLAG WILL BE AT 5:00 FOR THIS EVENT! Remember in today’s society we could all use a little more family entertainment, and the Ridge is your best place to be for just that. This is a special admission show (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 17 to 61) is $15.00 a person. Seniors 62 and older $13.00. Teens 12 to 16 WITH a paying adult $13.00, and children 11 and under WITH a paying Adult $2.00. Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2024 license holders is $30.00. Non-license holders are $35.00 (both prices include the front gate ticket.)
