The Pushees, Father & Son make it to victory lane in the
DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes
57th consecutive season of racing at Bear Ridge week 15.

For Immediate Release 08102024-1

Week fifteen feature winners of the 57th consecutive season sponsored by Swenson Insurance Co were Tad Kingsbury® in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds; Jason Gray in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; Chris Murray in the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets, Matt Lashua in the High Country Dispensary Late Models, Tyler Fellows in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, and in the Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners Kevin LaForest.
Being a three-time champion in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes gave him plenty of experience around the ¼ mile clay oval and it is no surprise as a rookie in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds to see him take the checkers in his first season. Tad Kingsbury beat out Max Dolliver for the top spot with Robert Tucker joining the due in third. Josh Sunn and Kyle Huntington rounded out your top five.
In the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes Jason Gray fared better than he did in his mod as he takes home his third win of the season. The sight to see was the second and third place spots as they were filled by father and son Ali and AJ Pushee. What better way to see your son in his rookie year make it to victory lane than to be there with him. Dad beat out Son for the second-place spot, with son taking home his second trophy of the season in third. Jason Horniak was able to make it to fourth place before the checkers waived with Todd Buckwold coming home in fifth.
Chris Murray scores his second win of the season in the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets and slowly makes his way back up the leader board on his quest for his second title. His luck may be coming in a little late as time is running out for him to set a true challenge against Manny Dias who comes home in second and is your current points leader. Everyone knows it “ain’t over till it’s over”, and all it will take is one bad night to change everything. For now, Dias is enjoying his small points margin. Brandon Piastka looking to get his first championship as well took the final victory lane trophy home. Ethan Durocher and John Forlano rounded out the top five.
Kelly Miller Sr had his “mulligan” when a wreck took him out of contention for another win. Matt Lashua was the one to capitalize on the opportunity and gets the win in the High-Country Dispensary Late Models with Scott Heath making it to second and Rob Rugg comes home in third. Derrick McGrew Jr and Todd Dunham competed the top five.
It was a rookie filled victory lane in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks it is clear that Tyler Fellows has figured it out, as he comes home the winner for the second time this season. Keith Mansur rookie in the division joins him in victory lane with Ryan Sayers taking third. Aren Keene and John Fields both veterans in the division rounded out the top five.
Kevin LaForest continues to dominate in the Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners taking home his fifth win of the season. Logan Martin wasn’t able to get by him and had to settle for second with Shane Stygles making it to victory lane in third. Travis King and Katie Burroughs completed the top five.
