Jason Gray is back on top in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds getting the monkey off his back after a six-week dry spell where he only made it to victory lane twice, putting him in an unfamiliar place for him this season. James Fadden joined him there in second place his best finish of the season with Josh Sunn taking the third-place spot. A much-deserved finish for DJ Robinson is recorded as he finally made it back into the top five after struggling for several weeks this summer, with Richie Simmons finishing in fifth.
In the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, Jason Horniak is finally able to get that elusive win, ending his over a year long dry spell. This helps to solidify his position in the points standings and gets him and his crew into the ever-popular growler held on the last Saturday of the season. Making it victory lane in the second week in a row in the second place spot was Cody Copeland, with Matt Ellsworth taking home the third place s[pot. Bob Shepard had his best finish of the season coming home in fourth with Cooper Hodge crossing the line in fifth.
The USAC DMA Midgets were off and return to action on September 11th..
The C.A. Miller Limited Late Models had a dozen cars on hand for their main event, with two of them just there for fun, leaving ten of them in the hunt for the trophy and visit to victory lane. Matt Lashua is the one to cross the line first with Tyler Tremblay taking home second and Matt Piper crossing in third. Travis Smith and Jason Porter rounded out the top five.
The LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks were off and return to action on September 11th.
The Peanuts Auto LLC Four Cylinders continue to over thirty cars on a weekly basis, which leads them to two feature events for the night. In the first feature Timothy Chase scores the win over Blake Buccellato and Douglas Kenny. Randy Morrill and Taber Andrews rounded out the top five. In the second feature Travis King no stranger to the Ridge, and back in a four cylinder was able to hold off the hard-fought challenges of Jason Porter who had to settle for second and John LaForest who came home in third. Kevin LaForest and Logan Martin rounded out the top five.
The Sting Vintage Race Cars 4/6 Cylinder Enduro 4th event of the season was full of plenty of excitement for the fans and when the seventy five laps were officially scored in the record books Darren Newland was the fittest of the survivors taking home the checkers. Jeff Mitchell took home second with Dilyn Switser in third. Eric Lundblad and David Wilder finished out the top five. The Sting Vintage Race Cars 4/6 Cylinder Enduros have two more events scheduled for 2021, with the next one on September 25.
The WYKR Sprint Cars of New England made their final appearance of the 2021 season. Despite the short field of cars the racing went green to checkers, with the Professor Chris Donnelly getting the win over Caleb Lamson and Jake Williams. Jordan Fornwalt and Clay Dow rounded out the top five.
